I'm Still Around

I'm still around I've just not been here in some time LOL! A month I think! Just the same ol same ol really. I'm no longer going to Mississippi I'm going to San Antonio 5 times a week. It's nice being in my own bed everyday. It does not leave much time during the week to do anything but thank goodness I've got a great job I love. Many people I know are hurting right now. I pretty much come home in the mornings go to bed and when I get up I head to the gym for a couple of hours come home eat dinner and get ready to go back to work. I'm thankful! I'm going to try real hard to get back here a couple of times a week. I swear I enjoy this blog and I do have something to say from time to time as well. Hope all is well with each of you.

Simpler Times?

I really like photos like this one. B&W are always my favorite. It's rare i get one right. If I was good at it all of mine would be in b&w. When I look at this shot I think of days gone by. Many may say a simpler time but was it really? Medical advancements were few and far between. Can you imagine what a trip to the dentist was like? Sending a letter took months cross country. So many things were not easy at all. I think as messed up as we may think things are today I'll take today! We live in an amazing time.

Just A Random Thought

I never thought I'd use a service such as Twitter. Lets face it I really do not have that many "friends" so why would i need this service. For some reason maybe I was bored who knows but I tried it. I do not have that many contacts but there are about 3 or 4 of them that keep me laughing all the time! Sunday we were talking about having to do a "panic clean" on the house. Come on you know what that is you have been there and done that! A last minute call from the inlaws for example saying we are 15 minutes away! You scream at the kids and say "we have FIVE minutes to get this place spotless!" They look at you like HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND? Who would have thought that little ol me would be "friends" with the owner of the number one day spa in Dallas? LOL!! I've learned to play "the game" and my contacts have figured out I'm damn good at it and they LOVE the fact I know how to get their name out there and help them keep it out there. It did not take me long to figure out that these people use Twitter to promote their business and I think that is so cool! Me and a spa owner friends. Who'd of thunk it?!! At last check I've been "on" Twitter a little over a month and already have almost 1000 updates LOL! Some would say I need a life others in the "Twitter world" are impressed LOL!

Please Read this first ladies. This is where I live. It's a brand new beautiful home in North Plano. There is much pride taken in the appearance of the home both inside and out. As a matter of fact the house is so nice on the inside that the sales people for this new edition often ask to show this home instead of the models alone. Nice huh? Ladies the bottom line is this. I live in the home with my mother and stepfather. There is a reason for this. I have helped support THREE households the past 20 months. I PAY THE BILLS GET THAT? ME! I am still able to come and go as I please. GET THIS! Yes I am on match for about 2 more months and yes this would be the first thing you read in my profile. It seems like there are so many women on match who are looking for a paycheck. It will not be me. As a matter of fact what I really wanted to say is what my best friend in the world would say. "They can go f*** a goat" if they have a problem where I live.

The funniest thing I have seen on match was last week. This is honest to God the truth. There was a really cute 36 year old that had this in her profile. "I make six figures you make seven I'm worth it" Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!! That says ruuuunnnnnnnnnnnnn! all over it LOL!!

Not Much Going On=That's A Good Thing!

Not to much going on here. I did have a good Saturday. Got up and had breakfast came home and for some reason had the picture here in my head so I created it LOL! It's so nice to have an outlet for those kinds of thoughts LOL!! In the afternoon I headed into Dallas. I met a Flickr friend at a gallery where she had a couple of pictures. We headed back to here building in downtown and ran down the street to have a couple of beers. Living downtown would really be cool! She told me that everyone knows each other because they see one another all the time. We met a couple of her neighbors went to this really good Mexican food place and I came home. All in all a pretty good day. Today it's going to be cloudy all day and give way to some huge storms. I'm sitting here at 8am thinking it may be fun to drive out west later and see if I can get some good shots as the storms start to fire up.

*UPDATE* Took a really nice nap. No pics but heading to the gym:-}
